Agreed. Everyone should start from scratch, just to make the contest fair.I'd advise that we do the latter, just to set a level playing field.

I would say they have to be new maps. Unfair advantage otherwise. Although I suppose you could edit one of your existing ones (not someone else's!), though the degree of editing to make it 'new' would be kind of a gray area...Question: Can you use maps you've had for some time, or do they have to be made in these two weeks?
I would say that it can be a pre-existing universe, but the map should be from scratch.Well I am making a fake universe map, so please allow it
No, totally original, but it is heavily based on OTL, for varying times in historyI would say that it can be a pre-existing universe, but the map should be from scratch.
Five Map Challanges should be set-up;
One should be POD based
One should be request based
One should be ease of challange based
and Two free-form
So basically we need to hammer out a dozen or two map challenges, time constraints, etc at this point.
How clearly and concisely their map challange can be figured out."ease of challenge"?
Pantsless Abomination said:Seems like the first thing that should be done is for the judges to PM each other and work out what the first challenge should be.
Works for me. SK had a pretty good schematic for the challenges; ask him to PM it to you. If you don't have any objections on it we're good.Right, so no objections?
I now appoint myself as the third judge--and there's nothing you can do about it.

What's the map of etc.?
Do we make them from scratch, like at school? Pirate maps and the like?
i think it should be one free form, the first two week one.
The judges have a scheme set up and as soon as we hammer out the rules it shall be made known. Thus spake the judges: Diamond, Shadow Knight, and Floid!
