Ok, that's just painful.

look at that California border...
maybe in 1851 but not at the start of the civil warWasn't it there immediately upon annexation? Then the Fornicators (Fornies? Calibrians? 'Californians' is so blasé) pushed it eastward to deny Nevada the Sierra Nevadas and that sweet, sweet silver.
That actually looks like a pretty good map.this was from an APUSH review lesson a while back

What is a Japheth, a Shem ... and Ham ? Are they meat peoples ?And then there is .... this ("The Dispersion of the Peoples and Animals of Pangaea after the Flood"):
No, they're the sons of Noah, in the Bible, who are the forefathers of the various ethnic groups apparently. E.g. Shem equals Semitic. What is a Japheth, a Shem ... and Ham ? Are they meat peoples ?
It's not too bad, though rather shoddy for what I assume would be a history course, or one where history was integral.View attachment 276941

But the tiny Norseman with his tame elk in Greenland is soo cute!
There's so many things wrong with that globe! Apparently the city of Palestine is right on the border between G/pt and Srael! Black Sea appears to be a city in Geopgian and Monaco and Andorra have moved to Corsica and Sardinia. I think the Maditerranean Sea sums it up really!
The Ottomans lost so badly they were completely wiped off the face of the Earth it seems.Wacky World War One

At least that one actually has the Ottoman Empire as part of the Central Powers. But what's up with those weird angular borders in eastern Europe? And obviously it's not like it was called World War 1 because it involved fighting in Africa as the whole continent was completely neutral.
What is up with Corsica (which seems to have gained independence and started dividing)? Here's another horrible one. I think somebodies forgotten about WWII.
